Pro Channel Menu

With all of the PC effects available now and coming it would be nice to be able to organize them in the Plug-In Manager. The list is getting long. Thanks.

Even with a small number of items, it makes sense to include them. They are still plugins, regardless of how they are inserted.

It could be something simple, like CTRL click to drag them around in the existing list, and for Sonar to recall how you left it, rather than a separate manager window.

Some grouping by purpose (e.g. REVERB, EQ, DYNAMICS ... as done with VST3 FX) would be helpful ...

Plus a drag and drop rearrangement which Sonar remembers ...

It's good to see this thread re-kindled. It would be nice to have a more navigable menu in the PC.

Many users have discussed the ever growing list of Pro Channel modules and the congestion this is now causing on the screen. If you have all the modules it now involves scrolling the list to make a selection.

There is no way presently to organise the Pro Channel plugins at all.

    Suggestion.

Extend the Plugin Manager filter in the left pane to include ProChannel modules.
Allow the creation of layouts for the list presentation when selecting Pro Channels modules for insertion.
Layouts to include folders as exist in current plugin layouts.

If the above is a big job then:
In the interim discontinue showing icons in the PC list would create a lot more room and minimise the need for scrolling until the above could be implemented.

If we discontinue the icons, I would like to see them on rollover, as my full HD screen is 15"6 across making the font tiny.

    Agreement here.

Instead of one scrolling menu with icons, either have the option to cut the icons so all the PC module names are visible on the screen; or have double, triple, or more columns, so all the icons are visible at the one time without scrolling.

I'm a big fan of things being in alphabetical order, so I've no problem with them the way they are set out, Just that I can't see them all at once to make a selection.

Prochannel sub menud by Existing catagories 2016/09/01 15:42:52 (permalink)

ProChannels currently fit into the following castigators.
    Default
    Frequency
    Dynamics
    Simulation
    Distrotion
    Time
    Modulation
    Imaging
    FXChain
    Analysis

    Plus the style dials.

With 23 in my collection and with other with much more,  it would be nice to get these to fit on the screen and be more intuitive

How about we right click the footer and have a choice to sub menu in the same way we do with the Style dials sub menu, but by catagory. by cataogory.

Additionally right clicking the catagory icon in the pro channel module header would allow you to change a catagory if wanted.

We can recolour the catgories, which makes sorting them more intuiive
