Pro Channel pre or post FX bin?

Is the Pro Channel pre or post the FX bin, and can you change the order?

You can make it PRE or POST as you wish.

There is a button saying "POST" in Pro Channel. By default, PC is set to PRE FX, when you click the button, it turns blue and PC becomes POST.

The button is on every channel, in the Pro Channel area.

You may need to clarify that it is in the console view. There is no button in the prochannel inspector view.

I took the image from the Inspector view, so the button is in the Inspector view as well... ;)

Hey,Blix, I'm sorry I got tied up on a project that ran late, but, just to chime in with you, and not to dispute what a fellow X1 user says. My ProChannel in the Track View mode does not, or ever had a Pre-Post button. It is only on the ProChannel window in Console view. If you notice the pic that was posted in that response, there is a gain button dead center of the PC buttons. That gain button is only available in the Console view when a PC pane is open. Everyone makes mistakes. Possibly, he is referring to the Console view as the Tracks view.

The Track inspector has a mini pro-channel module near the top (under gain, above the FX bin). "POST" is right in the middle of that, where you expect to see it. The inspector can be visible with both Track View and Console View.

The Console View has this same thing built into every track, in the exact same spot.

Where you will not find this button is within the Pro Channel strip/module itself (don't open Pro Channel to find it).

Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!

The Pro Channel's Pre/Post button is in the Inspector in track view, if you have the Inspector showing in the track view. And it is in the console view.  Just click on the Inspector's ProCh tab twice, if you don't see the Pre/Post button in the track view.

Sorry Sidroe, you are wrong. But hey...everyone makes mistakes!

Possibly you have unchecked the module in the display dropdown menue or your screen resolution is so small, that it does not show (try to undock the Inspector and drag the window bigger. The missing modules will show up...)

Sorry, I forgot about the click twice trick. My sincere apologies if my post sounded offending in any way. I appreciate that someone else here has helped me to remember a key feature here. Thanks Snaut! I had a long one yesterday and my mind is toast.

Thanks for this! I was right clicking in the PC and it wasn't working w/ quick grouping. The button on the console view works w/ quick grouping.
