Pro Tools 12 upgrade deal?

Unless I am mistaken, I can get Pro Tools 12 for $199.00 in an LE update promotion.
I have 6 LE and an old Mbox.

Looks like a good deal. I am thinking of going for it.
What do you think? No brainer?
Is Pro Tools 12 any good?
All of my vst can also be installed as aax so I won't lose any of that.

Thanks, Larry. It is not actually Windows 10 approved yet but the fact that it is working for you is good news in that it is not too far off.

MF has an open box of the update $175.11 so I ordered it.
That's the perpetual Pro Tools 12 license with 1 year of updates. Great deal!
You have to have a hardware box (M-Box 2) that came with LE and submit the serial number of the hardware box.
The hardware serial number has to have not been used for a previous upgrade.

Wow what an effort to get it and then install it, plus it hangs on start up when scanning plugins.

Saying Bye bye to the so called "industry standard" !!!

    My verdict, don't bother.

    Cheers,
    Jerry
