I remember the day, about 30 years ago, when C-Lab Notator added "Retrospective MIDI Record".

Me too :) C-Lab is still the best midi sequencer I ever had. Imagine how great it would have been now if C-Lab was still around and had developed into a full DAW like the others!
Splat, Win 10 64bit and all sorts of musical odds and sods collected over the years, but still missing a lot of my old analogue stuff I sold off years ago.

Didn't C-Lab Notator become Logic?

I think that's kind of right actually. It was certainly C-Lab and a version of Notator called Notator Logic.

Humph! I have PTHD12 with an active support plan til Feb 25.
I just downloaded and installed 2018.1 because the Avid App Manager said it was available. I download and install it only to then be told I’m not entitled to it unless I get a new support plan. What gives. I e put in a support case but I’m not hopeful of an outcome in my favour. At least with Cakewalk you got the update if your membership was active.
