Pro channel tube module ends clip down61.6

Hell
Wayne here FYI
I have one note in this clippers
It ends on a zero crossing
I tried running quad curve eq only
Good.
Then quad curve eq followed by sonitus eq
The old steely track eq ,sonitus in the fx chain
Directly under quad curve eq.
Good job!
Ends on 0 crossing
Then
Ender that
I undo and try again
Apply effects command
This quad curve on to
Under that sonitus eq
Then
Under all that
Tube
Output set at plus 0.2dB
Aww,
The result drpped off the clip when it was not at 0 crossing.
Lifted it up off the centerline when
The clip ended level n61.6 click

    Excuse me,wrong, my last.
    It is quad curve eq,
Lifting the last half cycle off of centerline
It does it with track eq
    Chad curve on
Does it sonitus on too but remove dc offset is what it seems to be
Sonitus ,as I recall, used to end on a zero crossing, work around yes, don't use any effect during a bounce?
    Oh no.
Reverno.Reverrb may make it not noticeable with the reverb tail I'm not sure
    Or maybe DirectX
    I'm running a.s.i.o. audio drivers.
    Not finished microsoft updates.
    Anniversary Windows edition.
Ran out of the phone company's limit again.
    I don't reeemmber, I don't
    Sonitus eq removing dc offset.
    Maybe it's an oddball
But, other clips ended off zero crossings too,
after eq run on one clip only
    Greetings,and all the eq pain.
    Hand,from clicking all day cramps
    Later friends.

I can't see anything if you typed it,
I'm afraid to lose this place,
    On a small tiny screen.
    Hard to see.
It isn't refreshing to show comments from you.
    I found something
    Clip tail duration.
    Under
    Pref>Filr>audio data.
Bottom line on the dialog box.
    Haven't tried it yet.
I don't remember ever having to use that
And when clips butt end to end, avant use it.
That may provide enuf tail to carry the clips yo zero.
But, again., when clip end butt, I would have to have that off.
    Thing is tho.
    Sonitus eq did it too
With the effect in the fx bin
And or in prochanmel fx chain.
    Same thing.
    Means trouble.
,as far as I tecall, sonitus never did that before.
Ended a clip hanging like that,
If the source clip faded,or ended on a 0 crossing , then the clip with effects applied did the same thing.
    That's not what it's doing now .
Howevrt, the attack portion result is nicer looking,as if remove dc offset had been applied,.

So I'm going to finish the Windows update to the anniversary version.
Tomorrow I will know for sure because Windows all rebuilt.
    Plus new SONAR soon too.
In the meantime, I'm changing all my fades,
    Changing fade curve types,
    ;busy,570 clips.

Quite honestly wayne, I can't work out if there's a question in your, er, ramblings or not.

Maybe you could be a little more precise with regards what you're trying to do.

    Sorry for errors.
I'm trying mix down a project.
I've done it this way many times.
    And
    Pro channel is great.
    The sound is great.
    Like wow.
    Track troubling me with clicks.
So I've done it this way many times,
    Except,
    What has changef,
    Eq pro channel.
    My parameter settings.
My Usual, on eq, but flat
    with HI pass. Min attenuation.
I can do a mix without applying effects.
SONAR does a great job of it mixing down to other bit depths and pulse rates.
Effects on, in pro channel, but not actually applied before mixing.
Tracks are single note clips, faded in and out..
    Manual.
SONAR has done really good mics like that.
    So what's different now?
    These clicks messed me up.
Nothing there to make it click.
    Faded nicely.
    So,
    What different too
My parameter settings of pro channel eq.
    Not flat.
This part, a violin part, done on an electric guitar,a very rare and unusual Gibson axe.
    6 string.
    Single coil pickups.3
    The wiring,somebody changed it,and I haven't rewired,reconfigured anything yet.
    All bass, too much
Thing is,there are no notes below the G
    That would be the G
    Where the G clef is.
    3rd string open on guitar.
    No notes under that.
But a lot of junk appearing on
Quad curve eq fly out panel.
Junk not pro channel, my strings
, I mean open strings sounding.
EADGBE, all of them not all at once usually.
So I have quad curve eq set to filter out all of that ,everything below about 198hz I think it is.
    On guitar anyway.
On the fly out panel too.
198hz that's the lowest sound note.
And HI pass filter max attenuation but the freq is 20.it works good.
Cleaned up the low end ,
    It was kind of bad,
Pretty fast the violin part is .
    The notes keep coming.
Hard to stop strings from vibrating
Trying to concentrate on the staff.
Any way, only 50 plus years plucking guitar strings so,I'm not as good as I would be if I practiced every day,
I've been doing processing of records.
    Here lately.
    Mixed it and clicks.
I didn't hear them when I played the track guitar, violin part, that track, going thru pro channel real time.
And,like I say, I normally do not apply pro channel eq.
    I mix with it on
have not done the apply effects command
    Today I did,
When I saw what was happening
Notes leaving pro channel and sonitus eq on some other value then a 0 zero crossimg,
    I freaked.
All the notes ,clips, had fade out curves.
    So.
    Anyway,
    Work around
    Select all notes ,clips,
    Hit process>audio effects>audio effects
SONAR applied eq to the clip
    And I may add
Does a beautiful job of it too.
    Very nice.
    However.
Most,if not all clips no longer end on Zero crossings.
    So
    They're all selected.
Adjust the rite margin moving inwards
Hope they all snap to zero.
    They do not.
    Oh well,.
They are not too far from zero crossings.
Fading any clip with all selected faded them all.
Same thing for fade in side of the clip.
The attack is done very nicely.
The wave form shape is good.
Pro channel and sonitus both now.
    Very good.
It was that end that messed me up.
Sonitus, eq,I believe ,did not do such a good job of it in prior versions,
    On earlier versions,
The attack was mangled using heavy attenuation on open strings,
    But the sound was good.
The waveform didn't look too good tho,

    Not now tho.
Now sonitus rq has beautiful waveform at the attack.,and all thru the note.
It was the end that had me messed up
Can't fade them again if they're not applied yet.
    So
    The work around,apply effects
Then fade them all at once.
    Theyre not snapping to zero.
Only the clip I actual had used to slip edit jumped to zero crossings.
But,fading them has the same sort of effect
The wave form ends on a zero crossing.
And, they were not that far from zero.
Now, next time I mix down.
    ,
I can turn that eq off and the way they're faded now, ,they shud stay like that.
    Hope so any way.
Reverb is going to be on too
    And compressor..

    Well ,
An item I read somewhere on forum,
the dialog said provide as many details as you can
    I noticed the changes
    Thank you very much
    No question.
    Fyi
Cause many years,no line, nothing from this end, no line why.
    Later

try clicking on the clip itself to select it. then click in the timeline to where you want the split to be.
This might help avoid the split at zero crossing problem your having. I believe there is also something in preferences to turn this off.
Wish I could help more but its hard to follow your comments because they are very small sentences and very long posts... Its freakin me out man
