ProChannel EQ Module isn't working
On some of my tracks (appears to be random tracks), in the EQ module of the ProChannel, the following is happening:
1)
The EQ Able/Disable button doesn’t ever come on when I click on it
2)
None of the knobs function, and they are all positioned hard left.
3)
The EQ IS functioning
4)
I can “grab” the EQ curve and adjust the EQ with it, but none of the knobs move accordingly and they remain positioned hard left. There is no way to adjust the Q and there is no way to know the values of Freq and Gain.
5)
LPF and HPF buttons and knobs don’t work
The bottom line is that nothing in the EQ module works except grabbing the EQ curve.
The same thing was happening in X1a and I was expecting it to be corrected in X1b. But now I am thinking that it is something that I am doing, or something that I don’t understand.
Is there a setting or a “knob” that I should be pressing? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Is this an old project done in a previous version of Sonar? If so you may want to try clicking on the on button while you press control to disengage the Sonitus Eq.

Thanks John, I already did that with all of the tracks. And some of my tracks are fine. I have a worst case scenario, in which I have to make new tracks and copy all the clips to the new tracks for a fresh start. I have over 30 songs that I would have to do that to. I am hoping that someone will have an answer. I am going to call Sonar Support tomorrow to see if then can help. Tom

I've had a similar problem. Try to load a preset and then try to tweak the knobs

Hi - After loading the latest build 255 patch, I'm still having this same issue as described below - I can't enable the ProChannel EQ, despite clicking the 'on' button while depressing 'cntrl' or turning on the tube saturation or loading a preset, etc. All knobs don't move and the 4 frequency selectors are greyed out on this older project.
Does anybody know if this was supposedly fixed in the recent patches?

I was expecting a fix for not being able to enable ProChannel on frozen synth tracks the same way we've been able to since the sonitus EQ.... :(

I haven't upgraded yet, but from what I've read here, Pro Channel still isn't working properly.

Try temporally removing your VST's. See if that fixes it. I had an issue with PC that was cured by remoxing a VST from the scan. I know it sounds odd, but give it a go.

What happens if you copy/paste all of the clips into a new/empty X1 project?
Can you now use the Pro Channel?
