Problem I had with changing Synth Layout - resloved

Not sure if anyone else had this problem but after last update I found I could not change my synth layout on both synth rack and insert menu,  from the standard Cakewalk produced synth layout to my own synth pgl version - after looking everywhere / re saving my layout I stumbled across a solution that worked for me.
I found I could change my audio plug in layout OK but as I said the synth one would not change.
So I went to the audio FX bin on an audio track and tried to load a synth - doing this I found I could change from the Cakewalk layout to my layout - I did not actually insert a synth, just changed the layout - after that all now seems back to normal.
