Problem Importing Audio Files in Sonar X2

In Sonar X2, I'm having problems importing multiple tracks into a templet.  I can wipe the tracks on a project and try importing new audio and I get the same results.  It imports them all on one track.  No matter how many tracks I try to import, X2 puts them all on one.  In other words, they are mixed so that when you play them back, they are all mixed and play as if you had exported them to a file.  I can go back to X1 and it imports correctly with each track in its own track, no problem.  I've tried checking the settings on X1 and comparing to X2 and the settings seem to be the same.  Please help!!

It's annoying, isn't it. If you import multiple audio via the browser they go to separate tracks but if you use the dialog box they go to one track on top of each other. I hope they fix this soon.

I suggest reporting this to Cakewalk as a bug if you haven't already.

Yes we're aware of it, thanks. You can use the browser in the interim. It will definitely get fixed.

I went back into X2 using the browser and I still can only transfer one track at a time.  If I try more than one track, it does the same thing, places them in one track on top of each other.  But it is quicker using the browser by just highlighting a track in the templet and then double clicking the track in the browser and it will insert that track into the highlighted empty templet track.  I really do like the new audio engine in X2.  The browser feature in X1 works great.  I hope this extra info helps getting the problem solved.
Thanks Cakewalk.  You have great software and features and support.

I was wondering if anyone had any update or info as to when this problem or some of the others were going to be addressed in an update, download, or what ever?

    Thanks
