Problem - Waves GTR3.5 - Win 7 64 bit in S8.5.3 PE

Just bought a new Lappy working under Win 7 64 bit.  Sonar has installed and appears to be working fine.  Other plugings have installed are are working fine.

I'm having trouble with Waves GTR3.5.  I have the full version of GTR 3.5 and in stand alone mode its working fine.  However in S8.5PE the plugin is not opening correctly.  I have it working fine on my desktop unit under XPSP3.  PLease refer to the (2) screen shots below to see what I'm talking about.

The plugin is a VST and appears in the FX bin as shown below.  It also oddly appears in the plug in manager with (0)'s appended on the end of the plugin name.  Is this strange?  I've never seen it displayed this way before.

I've tried uninstalling, deleting the folders in the registry and then reinstalling to no avail.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Regards,
Rich

Well it looks like you're running the 64 bit version of SONAR and that BitBridge doesn't like this particular plug-in. Try downloading and running the demo of jBridge to use your 32 bit plug-ins in a 64 bit host and see if that helps. If not you may have to run the shell tool (search the forum for a link). It takes your existing 32 bit dx plugs and wraps them so they become vsts. I've had to do this in the past with my Waves bundle which is quite old.

    emwhy,
Thanks for the response.  I forgot to mention the waveshell I'm using is v7.  Should I still need to run the tool you mentioned?  Maybe other might be able to validate if they have GTR3 running under bitbridge?

    Anyone?

I'm might need to give J-Bridge a try.

jBridge has free demo so it can't hurt. I'm actually running Wave Shell 5.1 and get that annoying"0" as well. Wrapping the DX versions as vsts and using jBridge cured a lot of my ills.
