Problem When Importing Audio

I have a very strange problem occurring when I try to import audio, though the project is set at bar 1 when I import a sample Sonar creates a marker at bar 1801 and loads the sample there. This happens both in a new project and an ongoing one and I have no idea why. I have Sonar X2 Studio and would be interested to know if anyone else has come across a similar problem.

    Uncheck "Always Import Broadcast Waves At their Timestamp" in Preferences > File > Audio Data
