Problem recording while looping with ASIO driver - Sonar X2

Has anyone ever experienced the following problem, and is there a workaround? I set a looped section to record a guitar solo in a song. I loop record a bunch of guitar solo 'takes' or 'comps' into their own lanes (sound on sound, all stored in the same track, but in their own lanes), letting it continuous loop each time, without stopping. If you record a lot of takes, you will notice that each take is slightly further off time than the previous one. Depending on how many takes you actually do, the problem will be completely obvious. I am able to reproduce this issue even with PDC and all fx turned off. And all of the buffer settings, from 48 all the way up to 1024. By the way, the higher the buffer setting, the clips become off time much faster with each take. This seems to only happen with the ASIO driver. Just to say it another way, the first take is on time, the next take slightly behind (even though it was played in time with the existing tracks) and each take after even further and further off time. If you have a low buffer setting, and only record about 10 takes, you may not notice. 15 or more and you should notice.

Hi I have the same problem and have not been able to fix it.
There are others in the same boat , I hope that X2a will fix it.
Do a search others are having the same issue and I believe this has been reported.
    Regards

Thanks Rob. It looks like this has been an issue for several versions of Sonar now. Seems like a pretty big bug. I would think lots of people like to comp solos by looping a section over and over. I could be wrong though. I would prefer things get fixed over fancy new features. Just my two cents.

Yeah, that's happened to me. Very annoying having to go in and manually line up the audio.
