Problem using Dimension Pro from Sonar on Windows 7 64Bit

Sonar Producer 8.5 and Dimension Pro on Windows 7 64Bit

My old XP computer died recently and I upgraded to a new Windows 7 64bit computer. I installed Sonar as 64 bit, had a real headache getting the drivers for my FA-66 firewire to work, etc.. Now, I'm having trouble getting Dimension Pro to work.
 
I read through several posts and wound up copying DimensionPro from Program Files (x86) to Program Files (as described in one of the posts). Ok, now the plugins are recognized (both the 32 and 64 bit versions show up). But I can't get the 64bit version to work and the 32bit version works in some but not all of my projects. In the case of the 32bit version, the audio engine shuts of as soon as a note tries to play. In the case of the 64bit version, Sonar just hangs when I try to play.
 
I did upgrade Dimension Pro to 1.2 (as instructed in the same post).
 
Any advice would be greatly appreciated (I work in computers but they torment me so)!

Here are the details of my setup:
 
HP Pavillion s5220y, Win 7 v. 6.1.7600,  Pentium Dual Core E5300 @ 2.6 Ghz, 4 gig ram, Sonar Producer 8.5.2.222

You have to use the VST version of Dimension Pro. The DXi version doesn't work at 64-bits.
