Problem w VSampler and Sonar 5 - Solved

I'm trying to run VSampler v3.51 as a plugin for Sonar 5. However, the sampler stops playing within three measures of starting playback of a MIDI track. Sonar continues to run (meaning the position pointer continues to move), but with no sound output. It doesn't matter what position I start within the track, I will only hear the sampler for about three measures. Does anyone know what could cause this problem? TIA

Does this happen in every project? Is there a volume envelope gone bad in this project? Check your event list for jump moves to zero around that time.

Have you tried increasing the midi buffer size?

Thank you all for your replies, I have since found the problem. I had a second MIDI track sharing the same channel number as the track that was going silent after three measures - its own events were interfering with the events in the original track. I changed the channel assignment of this secondary track and things have been working fine ever since.

This project has quite a few MIDI tracks so I failed to catch it initially. Thanks again.

You might consider changing your header for this thread and add [Problem Solved] or something to that effect. It helps for people searching for solutions to their problems.
