Problem when updating Windows 10

Hello Mr. Meng and Mr. Noel, there is a problem in some users where, when updating Windows 10, CbB stops working, especially the updates of the month of April and May, do you know about that and will there be a patch or update? Thank you

I have Windows 10.  I upgraded to the latest V1803, plus other updates and it did not affect either the old Sonar or the new CbB.  Both still work.  I also have a dual boot system with the Windows Insider advanced Win 10 versions (currently Build 17672) and both Sonar and CbB work OK after the latest updates.

I've encountered no problems either aside from an AD2 re-authorising in the XLN manager, which isn't really a problem at all and to be expected after major Windows updates.

Thank you for your answers ... I have verion 3.0.9 and the latest version of CbB . The problem of the update has some colleagues with version 1803 of Windows 10, I have the 1709 version without problems.

Some old hardware may not be fully compatible with 1803.  If that old hardware is upgraded to 1803 (or even some earlier versions) there have been reports of issues on the tenforums.com.  Older PC sound hardware is one issue due to available (compatible) drivers.   But, that is a problem between the PC and Windows version, has nothing to do with "Sonar" or CbB or any other DAW.

Hi, thanks to everyone for answering, especially to Master Noel, I just installed version 1803 of windows 10, previous installation of the CbB update, and I have not had any problems. I have read from colleagues that they have had problems, but they have not given me more information about their teams. Thanks again

The only problem I had with the latest Windows update is I can't run an Apple Superdrive any more by forcing Windows to use the Boot Camp driver. Oh well, I wanted to get a Blu-Ray optical drive anyway  CbB and BA are working fine.

Only problem I had was 1803 removed Home Groups network. Turns out Home Groups was causing most of problems with other things so that turned out to actually be a plus!
3 out of 3 upgrades went smoothly and are running snappy with the new OS installation, and now my problems with using Chrome (always wanting and nagging to take over as default browser) are gone and I now get full functionality of Bandlab.

This is the second time I've encountered this problem after two major updates to Windows 10 that has to do with the Yamaha/Steinberg Audio Driver for my Yamaha keyboard preventing, firstly with Sonar Professional after the 1709 update and now CbB after the 1803 update from booting properly. The driver was enabled in both DAWs and the solution was to uninstall the driver and then reinstall it.
