Problem with 4.0.3 and UAD automation
I'm having a problem that seems to have come up following the upgrade to 4.0.3. I'm using automation to change the frequency of a low-pass filter on the UAD Cambridge EQ. I had frozen the track while using 4.0.2 and it was working fine then. Now, after the upgrade I unfroze the track to make a minor change and the automation for the Cambridge doesn't work. I have two four bar sections of a bass line where I want the low pass frequency to change from 250Hz to 1 Khz. Instead the change is occuring at the end of the section. I tried deleting and recreating the automation but that didn't help.
If I place the cursor in and out of the section where the EQ change occurs without starting playback I can see the EQ on the Cambridge changing, but it won't do it while in playback or if I freeze the track.

I've solved my problem, or at least have a good work-around. I was using jump mode on the automation. I changed to linear and now it works. Jump mode worked fine in 4.0.2.

What's jump mode? Is that a setting on your hardware or in Sonar? Do you mean a jump envelope? [

I'm noticing automation problems after 4.0.3 too.

Axiology, have you found any other workarounds other than replacing jumps with slopes?
