Problem with Cakewalk and Tascam US-1800

Can anybody help me out here? When I record with the Tascam US-1800 interface and Cakewalk my tracks are all out of sync for some reason.I have set up the audio profile and interface correctly with WDM as the Tascam requires but with no luck.I did contact Tascam but of course they tried to steer me to another software.My older Tascam interface worked perfect with Cakewalk until I got the US-1800.Anybody else out there with the same problem and hopefully a solution?
