Problem with MIDI

I just got SONAR 8.0 Producer Edition And i'm having problems with mi MIDI interface! I got an KORG SV1 and I want to use as a MIDI controler, but the delay that i'm facing is really hard to work with! Does any one know how to fix this delay? I'm using the USB I/O fromt he key board and in to the computer

    How did you get Sonar 8? X1 is the current version.
