Problem with Step Sequencer

Hi all
I have a midi clip which I would like to convert it into step sequencer. However, once I get it converted, all the events disappear and all I get is an empty step sequencer clip.
Please help

    Not a familiar problem. What's in the clip in terms of timing, durations and pitch range, and what resolution did you choose when converting it? does the note range in Step Sequencer cover the note range in the clip? If you convert a copy and bounce it, do the events show up again in the bounced clip?

    Many thanks for the response. Well, I don't think I have done anything wrong. Is there any way I can attach the midi clip so that you could have a look at it. I appreciate your help.
