Problem with Virus TI1 in X1

Hey there, 

Just updated my system to a i7, 16gb ram, etc.  Top of the line stuff.  Running a NI Komplete Audio 6.

When I try to use the Virus TI with 1 midi track, it works fine.  When I introduce a second midi track to make a second synthline.  The second synthline only plays 1/2 the time and sometimes the first track has the same issue.  Is there a setting I can adjust to prevent this from happening or is the TI1 just not really meant to run more than 1 thing at a time?  A little concerned with my purchase..
