Problem with Waves MixCentric VST3 in X3

Has anyone run into issues using Waves Mix Centric or Voice Centric as VST3 in Sonar X3?
Both plugs work fine in Platinum, but in X3 none of the controls work and it does not give any effects except gain reduction and some boost. The VST2 plugs do work correctly, just not the VST3. Is it X3? Is it Waves? I know if it is X3 there is no hope for a solution, but if it's Waves, I can pursue a bug fix.

    This might be relevant.

You might do better asking in the main Sonar forum as well as here.

    Thanks tlw,
This doesn't seem to be the case. A new project with one audio track and no other plugs.
I did turn on "replace VTS2 with VST3" as well as "hide VST2" made no difference.
