Problem with a new audio interface

Hi
I have just got Zoom R24 and installed the drivers and sonar plug in-
I can  find Zoom in the contoller surface of sonar and have put it in the controller suraface and input output port columns
When I choose these input/ outputs s in a specific track I get the message that the "current audio format is not supported or in use by another ..."  if I choose use anyway - I get the message when I try playback - unable to find audio format ...     Help! Please! if you can.
Cheers

Have you selected the Zoom in the Options/Audio and Options/MIDI so that Sonar knows to use it as your audio and MIDI interface?
