Problem with audio

I hope that anyone can help with an audio problem. I may be computer related hence why I´ll post here.
The problem is not related to a specific DAW when I use both Sonar and Studio One. I get some sound disturbances including like audio is slowing down. I know that you can usually eliminate this noise by setting the buffer to a higher value, including the ASIO buffer, but it does not seem to help. The problem is most pronounced when using the plug-ins from Waves or Softube. Are there some who have some good advice.
Thanks
Jan

Hi Jan,

It would help if you could give some specific details on your machine (i.e. which audio interface, RAM, CPU, MB (as much info on your system) etc...). Are the drivers for your soundcard updated? Do you have Wifi enabled? (that can definitely cause latency/disturbances).

(I may not be the one to give you a solution, but this info will certainly help others that chime in).
If nothing else, consider this a free Bump!! :))
