On the VS-100, inputs 3 & 4 don't have gain controls. You would need to turn up the output of your device to push the inputs of 3 & 4 higher on the VS-100.
If you cannot increase the output of your device, then use inputs 1 & 2, and increase the input on the pre-amp with the sens controls. Depending on how high you need to push it, it may create noise, but only if you push it past 9:00.
The last option is to use the "master output" as an input in Logic. Then you can turn up 3 & 4 volume controls, and the Main Mix volume to increase the gain into the DAW.
