Problems importing multiple files

Hi guys,
 
i've run in to an awkward problem, and am obviously blind on how to solve this.
Used the search function but did not find an immediate solution.
 
I received a music piece that was composed in another studio,
they've bounced it in to 10 seperate tracks of equal lenght so i can put them on my timeline and make my own mix of it.
But when i import the tracks, they are different in length and they don't sync up alltough they are all the same length when i check them in adobe soundbooth. This happens when i import them seperately and also when i import multiple tracks at once...
 
What am i doing wrong here ?

And one more thing. Each DAW will export a little bit differently, and some will ignore any silence and start the track when the music starts. So they might all be just a little different depending on how each track was played. 
One sure fire way of getting it right, is to record a solid 4 beat count in, both as audio and midi. 
Copy and paste into the first or better yet, second measure of each track of the original before it is exported.  
This will make sure all tracks can be synced visually and probably automatically. 
It also helps line up a tempo if none was known. 
 
Another method I've never tested is to have them export as "broadcast waves" This in theory will time stamp them. Then import into Sonar using the "always import broadcast waves at time stamp" found in the global options. 

Yep tried everything...
it works fine in pro tools, it works fine in soundbooth, it ****s up in cakewalk...
 
I also tried dragging everything seperate from explorer keeps doing the same...
for some reason some trackchannels do something with the audio that makes it going slower then the others, in this specific case i have this problem with tracks 3-4-6-7-9-10.
 
now when i put an audiorecording on track 2 it plays like it should, if i put the same on tracks 3-4-6-7-9 or 10 it goes a couple of frames off..
 
Another problem that i have is that my sound quality is not consistent... even when i use the same settings a day later, it can sound completely different... even got a few complaints from clients about this...
 
could all of this be related to wordclock problems or something ?
