Problems playing Dimension Pro Drums with USB E-Drums

I am using XP. I can play all sounds/instruments on my pc with a midi keyboard no problem. However, I would like to trigger the Dim Pro Kits with usb e-drums. For some reason this wont work. What happens is that I get the occasional response e.g. I would hit the pad about 10 times and then the 11th hit triggers the sounds, then gone again. The usb midi kit works fine with all other vst instruments on my pc. Dim pro is the only problem. Any suggestions? Thanks NJON

njon, I can look into this but I need to make sure we are on the same page.
What version of Sonar are you usng?
Which DimPro version do you have( I am on 1.5).
What is your sound card/ interface? Are you using ASIO drivers?
What is your MIDI Prepare buffer set to?
Are you using a drum map?
I am also using XP(specs below).
I have also been successful with other synths(EZDrummer, Session Drummer2, Studio Instruments) but have not tried triggering DimPro.
I'll get back to you with what I find out.
