Problems with Copy and Paste, Blend Old With New and Replace Old with New

Ok, so I gather that copy and paste not working correctly is a known issue.  (is it?)

To describe my problem; I copy a clip (using the edit copy menu) and while the same track is selected I paste said clip (using the edit paste menu) and it pastes to the wrong track, not everytime, but once in a while.  Is this a known issue?

How about this; does anyone else have trouble with using CTRL to copy and paste clips?  If I select " Blend old with new " or " Replace old with new " I get one or the other almost everytime and have to do the operation again, as a result I usually end up using the edit menu to copy and paste which leads me to the first problem I've described.  Is this a known issue?

Perhaps I should report this behaviour so it can be fixed in a patch?

If your focus is on another track, this can happen. sometimes you don't ever realize the focus is on a different track. If its happening every now and then, this is probably your issue

AFAIK copy & paste issues are almost completely fixed, there might be a few issues with SIT and synths but I've not experienced them.

CJ is on the money. The paste will always happen in the "in focus" track which can be completely different to the selected track. I've never had a paste happen into any track other than the one it should paste into. There is a difference between selected and "in focus".
