Problems with Rapture

I have this odd problem in Rapture where I change the first cutoff of the first element in the dsp box from halfway to slightly less than halfway but then when I play the song and then hit stop, the cutoff resets its old place. It happens with the reso too, but not the dsp knobs. Any advice?

Windows 7 64 bit
Cakewalk Sonar X2 Producer

    It is probably a return to zero for midi.  Don't know what DAw you are using, but you can turn that off, maybe?  In Sonar you can look at the midi info - start at zero.  Or try setting rapture as you want it from the beginning of the song, save it and see if that works.

    In Sonar, go to options-project, and select the midi out tab. Is 'zero controllers when play stops' ticked? If it is, untick it. Hopefully that will fix it.

    I had the exact same problem and someone on this forum helpfully told me about that and it fixed it.

    Hey thanks guys! Worked like a charm. Odd, because it wasn't on before. I wonder how that happened.
