Problems with Scarlett 18i8 and Lexicon MX300 since updating to Jamaica Plain

I'm currently (and have been for some time) running Sonar Platinum on Windows 8.1, using a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 interface.
Since performing the recent Sonar update, I'm having my first major issue with Sonar ~

Now, each time I launch Sonar, the Scarlett 18i8 is knocked offline, with a "No Hardware Connected" message reported by the Scarlett Mixcontrol app. I have to cycle the power button on the 18i8 several times before the interface will reconnect.

I wasn't having this issue before the recent update.
Note that I also use the interface with Cantabile 2x, as well as the stand-alone versions of the the synths from Komplete 8, Arturia, etc. and don't have any problems.

VERY frustrating, needless to say!
Any assistance would be appreciated -

Thanks!

That looks like a driver related issue.
Try deleting AUD.INI (Google for details).

Have you updated to win10 recently? Or rolled back to 8.1?

Regardless goto focusrite's site and download latest mix control.
If you are on latest driver or not, uninstall mix control, reboot, install latest mix control, reboot, in mix control menu reset all the settings, and set defaults. Then configure to your requirements.

Also update your chipset drivers (Intel driver update website perhaps) and motherboard BIOS.

If you are running asio4all remove!

    Cheers.

Just using the OEM drivers, NOT asio4all - learned that lesson a LONG time ago!
No change to my PC  -
I briefly tried Windows 10 when it first released, but promptly rolled back to 8.1.
(I think we've had several Sonar releases since then!)

    UPDATE to the problem:
    I have A Behringer ADA8200 connected to the 18i8 via ADAT, and a Lexicon MX300 connected via S/PDIF (I/O).
The ADA8200 is set as the master sync source, and the 18i8, ADA8200 and MX300 all show synced.
I've been running this hardware combination for many months.

It looks like there's something going on when I turn on the MX300 (S/PDIF) with Sonar  -
It seems to consistently cause the 18i8 to drop offline if the MX300 is powered up when I start Sonar, or if I turn on the MX300 after Sonar is started.

I tried the suggested uninstall / reinstall of the Scarlett Mixcontrol, and it doesn't seem to be making a difference.
Switching the Sync Source between ADAT and Internal on Mixcontrol doesn't seem to be making a difference, either.

Tried deleting the AUD.INI; doesn't seem to be making a difference.

And as mentioned previously, this is only happening inside Sonar -
Everything works fine with Cantabile and stand-alone instruments I mentioned earlier.

    Very perplexing -
Could be a coincidence, but I didn't notice any of these issues until the recent Sonar update -
and I'll be the first to admit that I'm no pro when it comes to understanding the inner workings of all this equipment!!

    Any additional suggestions?
