Problems with track manager

Hi guys!

I'm having some problems with the track manager. I saw some other people here having the same problem a while ago but there were no sollution in the post.

This is what happends. When I'm in the track view I can show and hide tracks just as usual. But in console view I cant even get the track manager open. Not using "H"-key or the menu. I have tried ticking the "Keep track / console visibility state in sync" and changed it back (I dont want them synced). But no change.
The project I'm working on was started in X2a so no older version has been involved or anything like that. I'm using track folders. One of the guys with the same problem said that he had noticed this problem when he was using track folders.

I'm using the following:
Sonar X2a Producer 64 bit.
Windows 8 Pro 64 bit

Any ideas? Anyone from Cake here?  This problem really is getting on my nerves. If anyone out there has anything, I'm all ears!

The actual Track Management function is itself a bit flakey in Console View, but I've never had it not appearing by using 'H'

    Can't help I'm afraid.

I have the same thing happening. It seems to be project based. Not sure of the cause, but at some point in a project, this starts happening, and once it does I've never found a way to get the track manager back in console view.

The only way I have found to fix it is to create a new project, copy or import all your tracks, plugins, etc.  just doing a "save as" won't fix this...

I use the Track Manager and H to get there frequently as I work through songs.

I always get there by being in the Track View. It's only a D keystroke to switch between Console View and Track View anyway - if you have your Console View in the multi dock.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

[<font]You may have a locked screenset. If so, any changes to the view will revert back to the locked setting.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

    Hey again!

Still havent managed to solve this. The problem isnt with locked screensets as I cant even get the track manager to show up in console view. It just stopped working.

I'll let you guys know if I find anything of use.
