Prochannel "Set Modules as Default for Tracks" not working?

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone ever has any success with this setting, or maybe I am using it wrong?  I simply want every new audio and softsynth track to be pre-loaded with N-Type Console Emulation on and nothing else.   I made a simple Pro-Channel config and then right clicked on it and chose "Set Modules As Default For Tracks", thinking that all new tracks I make will have this setting, but this does not happen.
 
Is there another way to do this or is this feature just broken?

It works fine but there are a few things to consider. The EQ is not optional. Modules load with their default settings. The "N" type console is not the default setting for the Console Emulation. To add tracks and buses with with the ProChannel set to something other than the default settings requires using a template.

Hi Scook.  Ahhh ok!  That makes sense then!   I wish it would take the settings.  I can't really use templates b/c i have like 40 softsynths and keep adding.  I'd have to make one for each synth, which kinda sucks... .but thanks for letting me know :)

You only need a few templates and switch out the synth (right click on track header for switch synth option) after loading the template. But it may be just as easy to either load a ProChannel preset or switch the Console Emulation each time since it will be the only module used in the PC.

Yea, i'll just load a PC preset i guess.  The hardest part is remembering :)
