Prochannel pack?

Is the ProChannel Pack fx the only thing not included in the new X2?

    It is a pretty hard question, "what is not in a product?" It is true that the PC modules in the Prochannel Pack are not included in any version X2.

    In terms of ProChannel modules, you are correct. The ProChannel Pack includes 4 Cakewalk ProChannel modules, which aren't included in SONAR X2 Producer:


    • ProChannel Concrete Limiter - regular price: $79
    • PC2A T-Type Leveling Amplifier - regular price: $79
    • PC4K S-Type Channel Compressor - regular price: $49
    • PC4K S-Type Expander/Gate - regular price: $49
    You can buy all 4 of these as a pack for $179.

    When I upgraded to X1 Expanded I got the PC4K S TypeExpander/Gate as a freebie.  I know the Prochannel Pack is on sale but I only need the other 3 (Concrete Limiter, Leveling Amp and Channel compressor.)  Any chance these will Individually  be On Sale anytime soon?  I am sure I am not alone in this situation.

    mrneil2: They just recently went off sale. They have been on sale a couple of times since being released. Do you get the CW Newsletter? If not and want it, email CW and ask to them to add you to the newsletter distribution. You might want to periodically check the monthly specials in the store too.

    Just to confirm, absolutely yes. They will work in SONAR X2 Producer.

    I keep thinking about getting the whole pack, but I purchased the Gate before this pack was available and would be getting it again and paying for 3 new plugs instead of 4, I'll have to wait for a new sale as already purchased Expanded and X2 on the pre sale.Got to watch the cash flow these days unfortunately.
    I bet a few people are in the same boat.

    I suspose you can't keep everyone happy, just wish they'd have a mix n match bundle.I refuse to buy something I've already purchased in good faith when it first came out.
    At least with X2 I'll be able buy and insert equivalent 3rd party plugs in the Pro channel.
