Producer X2a crashes when trying to import mp3

Producer comes up with a fatal error when trying to import an mp3 and forces a shutdown.  Am I missing something?

    This is the wrong forum. The forum above this one is for X series SONAR.
     
    Prior to X3, mp3 files containing data such as images caused the Microsoft libraries used by Cakewalk products to fail. The easiest way to handle the problem is to convert the file to a wav before importing into SONAR.
