Professional opportunities for different lexical categories

Ok, I’ve always known that nouns can go pro and I’ve just discovered that verbs (apparently) can moonlight as algorithms for cash but why don’t conjunctions which do all the work (you know, hooking up words and phrases and clauses, etc.) have an opportunity to go pro?
