Profire 610 -How to use XLR on combo connection

I just bought a Profire 610....Up to now, I've been using normal XLR connectors on my soundcards....This Combo thing is new, totally new for me....The manual does not explain how I make this combo suitable to receive a XLR cable...DO I need to remove something from the front input? How do I do that?

    Hi Neel,

A Male XLR fits into those Neutrik "combo" connections (no need to remove anything).
Take an unplugged Mic cable and give it a whirl.  You won't hurt anything...
(A 1/4" balanced/unballanced cable connects in the center.)
