Great vocals - and great production of same.  You found the exact right volume so it ain't too poppy and don't bury it.  Echo is sublime, too.  Very slick production overall - and I mean that in a good way.

Another radio ready or dance floor number.  Great job.  Oh, and I really liked the song.  You've always written well, but the last couple of tracks have just been supurb.  Maybe lay back the echoes in the short break about 4 minutes, but otherwise I have no suggestions.

Thanks for the listens and compliments, guys!

@AT - we brought the echoes up during the breakdown intentionally, but I've kinda had my reservations about them being too high as well, so I may need to lower them a bit.  Thanks!

it's funny, when I think of progressive house, the first thing that comes to mind is Deadmau5's very upfront drums and agressive basslines. So your song was pretty far from what I expected, but I still enjoyed it a lot.

Listening to this song, there are a few things I was thinking I would have done differently, I'll just share them, but I can't say if these are suggestions or just personal feelings. Take it for what it's worth :)

I probably would have put the drums more upfront, added a clap sound to double the snare in some places. I'd probably add more variation to the hihat pattern, I don't mean make it change all the time, but not repeat this half bar for the whole duration of the track. I'd probably put more mid/mid-high in the hihat. Somehow I feel like what really makes people dance in, well, dance music, is the interaction between the kick drum and the hats, so I tend to focus a lot on these two elements.

I probably would use a bit of swing, at least on the hihats. even a subtle amound can go unnoticed but seems to add a lot of groove to a song.

at first I felt like the voice was too hot, but I think it's more the drums that are too low. (I love that voice by the way, and the way you produced it, I really the sound of reverb/delay you head on the "s" and "sh" sounds. I can't get my reverbs as good sounding as yours)

Since I think your music is really good, I'd rather tell you things I don't like or things I think I'd do differently instead of just telling you how much I like it.
    :)

<--- how this song makes me feel.

Great track, and I'm sick of having to continually tell you how impressed I am with you, man! The vocal treatments ... just... INCROYABLE! She is dreamy! (her voice too! ;-) )

Thanks a bunch, Greg!  That means a lot coming from you!  Got anything new in the works?

@Seb - thanks for the suggestions!  I'll give some of them a try, particularly bringing the drums up because I've gotten that same comment from a few people now.  Thanks again!

Hi, Cryophonik! Excellent production as usual. This is very radio ready. But don't waste your talent on producing run of the mill trance songs. Shock us pleasantly with some creative twists and turns. This track is as "has been done before" as it gets. Do not settle for this man, keep pushing the boundaries!

I didnt think it sounded like "has been done before".....thats not very constructive feedback.

I thought it sounded pretty damn good. better than most of the other trance crap out there now days.

    nice work Cryo!

Have to agree on the vocal performance but a big thumbs up must go to you for recording it.
