Program Focus

Not quite sure how to word this. What is the best way to bring focus back to the main Sonar window while working between different programs. An example is like when writing in the forum on IE then clicking back to sonar my keystrokes are still focused to IE. I actually have to click sonar on the taskbar to return focus. Not sure if this is answerable but wanted to ask.

What?!? Has SONAR become a rootkit? If it doesn't show in Task Manager it's not running.

Do a search on this forum for a free utility called Wizmouse - Randy Bowser first discussed it I believe. A great tool that greatly simplifies the issue you are describing in SONAR and other apps - and which makes working in SONAR much, much nicer.

Here is a link to the download - http://download.cnet.com/WizMouse/3000-18487_4-10907935.html

Thanks will try it. Have had some issues with active windows tracking disrupting a vst i work with. Will see if this corrects that as well.

In Vista if you goto Personalize by right clicking on the desktop. When that is up toward the left bottom is Ease of Access click on that. It will bring up the Ease of Access Center. Select Make mouse easier to use. Click on Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse.

Then when you move your mouse to a window it will bring that window into focus.

I suppose Windows 7 has a similar ability. This used to be called XMouse as a utility for XP. Now it is built in.
