Project 5 plugins in Sonar 6 Trial

I was playing with Sonar 6 Trial and because Pantheon would not load into a track I tried a P5 StudioVerb2 plugin. It would not load either. All of these plugs work in Sonar 5 PE of course. Is CW not going to let us use P5 plugins in new versions of Sonar? The reason I ask is when trying to load the P5 plug I was given notice to purchase it from CW as it would not work without P5. Anyone else seen this in Sonar 6 PE or is it just a trial problem?

Best

All my P5 plugins seem to be working fine in Sonar 6 just as they did in 5

Also be forewarned that many of P5's effects and SONAR's 3rd party stuff won't work in other DAWs. That really shouldn't be a problem unless you have a surfeit of software, but something you should be aware of nonetheless.

I have not used the trial version of Sonar 6, but I use the plugins from Sonar 6 PE and Project5v2 interchangeably and on a regular basis without problem. I have also used many of the effects in Wavelab with no apparent problems. So, my guess would be that the problem is simply a restriction on the demo version, although it doesn't seem to make sense that CW would provide a demo version of Pantheon with the Sonar demo if it couldn't be auditioned. If possible, try reinstalling it.

Hmmm, I don't have P5, but I do know that all of my previous VST plugins transferred over to S6PE without a problem.

There are no VST plugs in P5 they are all DX. I think that the demo is somewhat restricted so all is ok as long as the full version is able to use all my plugins.

I will be upgrading soon. Thanks all for putting this to rest.
