Project Won't Open

I have a plug-in effect on 1 of my tracks.  something has gone wrong with loading it.  is there a way to ever open this project if there is an effects plug-in problem?  any way to by-pass it?

    Holding the SHIFT key while opening the project (safe mode) will give you the option to skip loading plugins
