Projects with many Groove Clips/ACID loops very slow to save - Sonar X1d

This problem has been there since Sonar 8 or earlier. I thought it might be solved on sonar x1d 64 bits running on windows 7, but NO!

Any projects with many ACID loop files (20 or more) / groove clips is very slow to save. It runs and plays just fine, but the saves are very slow.

Anyone else notice this? Any chance of a solution?

Does no one else have this problem? I had it  on 3 different PCs. The latest is an i7. Once I bounce to clips the acid loops/ groove clips the project saves instantly. Otherwise it takes minutes and almost freezes the pc while its saving.

Are you saving as a bundle by chance?

No, a normal cwp file. It is a very old and very reproducable problem. The more groove clips you have in your project, the slower it saves. My project was taking 4-5 minutes to save each time it autosaved. I had to bounce all grooveclips to clips.
