Projects won't open after recent ReMatrix update.

So since I updated to the newest version of ReMatrix that was released a few days ago (the one that was supposed to fix the automation crashes) I can no longer open projects that have it loaded as an effect. Sonar just crashes and offers to send a Fault Report. I know this has got to do with ReMatrix because one time a different message came up referring to ReMatrix. Though I am having trouble getting that message again.

Anyone else having this issue?

    I could not replicate the problem. Hopefully you let the crash reporter do its job. Do the projects load in "Safe Mode?"

    I didn't realize there was a "safe mode." I tried that and loaded everything but the instances of ReMatrix that I had in the project. Opened just fine and everything seemed to work.

    OK. So I just opened another project without any ReMatrix plugs. I then tried to load an instance and SPlat immediately crashed.
     
    UPDATE: It turns out the new version installed into cakewalk\vstplugins\th2 producer and the old one was in cakewalk\vstplugins

    I just replaced the old one with the new and everything seems fine now.

    You might want to re-run the update or uninstall and reinstall the plug-in. I tested with 64bit Lexington on Win10.

    Great. You do need to be careful with their installers. I have noticed that Overloud remembers a previous install path to one of their products. In my case, it was the Mark2 Bass.

    Overloud's installer is awful.  It wants to stick things in cakewalk\vstplugins\th2 producer you have to be very, very careful with them.  When I installed the new update to REmatrix I was very careful to make sure afterwards I only had one copy and it was in the place I wanted it to be.  Of course I'm a bit obsessive about managing my zillion plugins.  I didn't have any problems loading any old projects using REmatrix with the new version or I would have said something.
