Protools hd card and apogee symphony IO for running SONAR Platinum (HELP)

Hi guys
Anybody here knows how to up and run protools hd (pcie) card and apogee symphony io on PC and run Sonar platinum ?
I am really frustrated of my Roland VS700 R and want to get ride of it. I was told there is a possibility to run Symphony io in this way. And as far as I know it is a really good converter. I just need some instruction to show me how to do that before I spend money.
