Pulled Pork BBQ fer Lunch
Just got back in from being raped by the local car dealer for a recall on my truck. Up here in the wonderful great white northern territory, appearently all these chemicals are pretty harsh on the under-carraige rusting things up a bit. Needless to say the fuel filter was leaking because of it. Said it would be $56 to pop on a new one. No biggy, but in my head Im thinking $15 at autozone and a few seconds on the cold concrete with it being 40 degrees out. Heck I said put it on. Crooks I tell ya!!! Played with the iPhone and tried to mess around in the forum but its hell to try and post in here that way. Gave up, listened to stuff stuff Im working on and now here I sit staring at a nice big plate of munchies!!!

My friend pulled pork is a plate unto itself more than a "munchie"!! Sometimes its worth the extra money to let some one else do it, but did that prie include the part?

Pork is a main food here in NC. BBQ here means pork..... chopped, pulled, picked..... it's all good. I have a cheap side to me that would say.... go to autozone and get the filter and install it myself...... but I have also spent all day replacing a part that was $5...... when I could have paid someone to do it for me and been done in less than an hour total. On a cold day....laying under a car working on a gas line...... hummmmmm,,,, I'd probably have spent the money like you did.

bapu What's for dinner? Pulled Pork or course! (Sorry everyone, a shameless plug for a song of that title by a dear departed friend! I couldn't resist the way this thread was going)
