Punch recording stop takes timeline to end of track?

When I use Punch Recording and I press the spacebar to stop, the timeline jumps to the end of the track. How can I change this so that the timeline stays where it is when I press stop?

Thanks.

I believe what you're looking for is in the Global Settings --what to do when you hit stop. Not in front of my DAW right now, but take a look there and see what the options are for when the project stops.

Thank you for your reply. The only thing I could see was 'On stop, rewind to Now Marker', which is in Options. However, this doesn't achieve what we used to have i.e. Now Time doesn't change when stop is pressed using the spacebar.

I think if you hold cntr-space or shift-space it stops the transport where it currently is rather than rewinding.
