Purchase Timing Question on Izotope RX 2 / 3

I'm about to bite the bullet on RX, but with the update from 2 to 3 coming in just a few weeks, I'm wondering if it's better to wait for their release price or get RX 2 now which includes a free update to RX 3 anyways.
 
The only thing I have from Izotope is Ozone 4 [now 5], so I'm not used to their pricing strategies, which is what I'm asking for here.
 
Does anyone know if they typically come out with introductory prices that would prove to be better to wait for?
 
Right now, their site says $349, but PluginDiscounts has it for $231 - which is pretty good.
