Purchase X2?

I have purchased Sonar Producer X1 expanded and see in my mail, there is a "d" download available, however I have not had the time to install, learn, etc. It appears Sonar moved too fast for me :) and I am still happily using 8.5 but looking forward to X1, X2.
 
I hope to have a break in a month or so to upgrade and I am thinking about purchasing X2 now to get the Oct deal.
 
If so, will I need to install the whole gemisch of X1 prior to the X2 install or simply install the X2?

    Straight to X2 will work okay. Might be a bit of a learning curve stepping up from pre-X1 but that'd be the case if you install X1 as well.
