Purchasing New Computer & Installing old software

I read something in the authorization process that gave rise to a question: "That once authorized on one computer it could not be authorized on any other computer, which is understandable, but what happens if we purchase a new computer, to run the plugins our old computers no longer have the power to operate.... how do we get our Sonar authorized on our new computer -- please don't tell me I have to buy another complete software license, because I've updated my hardware....?"

Thanks

There is no problem installing your old software on a new machine. Cakewalk does not restrict installations to a single machine.

Even brands like Native Instruments and IK make it pretty easy. I've done this a few times.

Intel i7 950 Proc, Asus Sabertooth x58 MB, 2 Crucial 128GB SSDs and Seagate 1TBGB drive, 12GB Corsair 1600mhz 8-8-8-24 Memory, Nvidia GeForece 8400 Dual Monitor vid card
Cooler Master Silent Pro 700w Power Supply, Cooler Master Sileo 500

    Win 7 64 bit, SPlat 64-bit, Komplete 10 Ultimate, AmpliTube3 and AD2

    Tascam FW-1884 and AKAI MPK-49
