Cool song. Nice chords and progressions. Too hot though. You are clipping a lot. You need to back the levels down a bit, mostly on the vox. I am not liking the effect on the main vocals, but I am not sure if its actually an effect or the room I am hearing. Might like to hear a version with dry vox if possible. edit - the latter vocals with the intentional effect worked.

Very cool pop song. I like the fact that it isn't predictable like so many pop songs are. Whatever you did to change it works very well, because the mix sounded good on my speakers.

Arse. Gotcha! Nicely written song Daryl, got a little Crowded House feel to it. Enjoyed that very much.

nice jingle man, really like the arrangments, reminds me of the beatles in a way,not like one of their songs but more like a style,no too much, just enough where i really like it. really like the ending where that lay over of a track in a different frequenct saying "your,so simple"..i eat stuff like that up,its only 2 times in the whole song and a great little hook(that ending piece) great job.

Hey Daryl GREAT tune! I'm feeling the Crowded House vibe also. One of my fav bands. A very well written piece you have here. Like the chord progression unpredictable with a real nice flow. Great job on the vox and harmonies. Catchy hook! The mix on my end was real clean and had a nice balance between high and low end. Looking forward to hearing more of your music. KUDOS! Kev

Nice job. I like that the chords are not predictable according to what I would think would be next. I like it. I like the plucked strings in the chorus.

Cool song, really. Almost as cool as the name The guitar distoration seemed just a tad too much for my ears, I liked the contrast but I think a little less gain would be good to me. But good tune. Daryl

Thanks Daryl (great name by the way) - point taken - when I mixed it, I wanted the distortion to be right on the edge and dirty - maybe it went over the edge :)

Really like this, sounds a bit mcCartney'esque to me with the melody flowing very nicely over some unexpected chord changes . Nice recording too! Cant beat writing a song for your partner, they melt every time :-) You could probably get away with anything for a few weeks at least ;-) Top job sir! Bibs
