QuadEQ Flyout: Solo track and Reset EQ buttons

Solo track and Reset EQ (screen capture from SONAR with Duckbar)

Would you like Track solo and Reset EQ settings buttons in the QuadEQ flyout window?
Reset EQ settings woudl be especially useful as it's not available in the ProChannel.

Until Bakers make these happen, you can use Duckbar which adds these buttons (just keep Duckbar running in the background... :)

I'm not sure I'd use Reset very often, but yeah, I would definitely like the Track Solo icon.

I find myself using the Reset EQ more often than the Solo track button.
There's also room for EQ and other ProChannel module specific presets; currently it's not possible to load EQ presets without overwriting the whole ProChannel with a new preset.

I can definitely see a case for a dedicated solo button:

My inspector sits to the right of the screen in Track View so flyout doesnt cover the track pane at all - solo is still accessible for me. If you have yours on the left, then it will possibly cover the Mute/Solo buttons in the track pane. In Console View flyout will not cover the solo button unless activated from a strip too far to the right, which on my 24" monitor is anything more right than center.

I think reset would be better substituted by an A/B selector.

Both a reset and solo button is a great idea.

I would likely use reset pretty frequently.  Maybe they can do this when they implement QC preset save/load

Possibly I could make EQ preset save/recall feature by Duckbar but let's wait for a while (half year at least) what Cakewalk can do.

Nothing personal and no disrespect intended ... you are obviously a very talented individual, BUT ... I really don't want to use small-shop 3rd party solutions for things that *should* be part of the application.

I would much prefer a native solution provide inside of Sonar

I too prefer native solutions but I don't want to wait for a decade to see if the features I need are actually implemented natively.  Why wait years for a feature if you can do it yourself in hours or days?
I don't care if I was the only Duckbar user in the world; I have designed it to make MY life easier with SONAR and the less users, the less troubleshooting..:)

Definitely keen on a reset button myself. It's a real pain to manually zero everything if you decide to start again from a clean slate.
