Quantize Function in X1D

Hey - in 8.5.3 I used to select a midi track recording ARM button (turned it to red 'R')..... but because I play keys crappily, I would view ALL the track strip options detail and select the quantize square and then the quantize value below that.... record away and then what I played would be quantized as I recorded...

Have x1d running just fine, but could not see where I could do the same thing as 8.5.3.  Did that go away in favor of just recording the clip, and using the quantize function from the menu bar.... (sorry, still slow to learn x1d while I finish up stuff in 8.5.3

If you are referring to Input Quantization (as in real time) I just tried that tonight for the first time in a long while.  I got a bit frustrated looking for it in the Inspector view as the Help file suggested but seeing no way to engage it.

I finally figured out through trial and error that I had to click on the Pro Channel button at the top in the Inspector view to remove it and finally see the Input Quantization button.

If you mean quantizing after the notes have been entered then the only way I have found to do so is to right click the clip and either choose Insert Effect>MIDI Effects>Cakewalk FX>Quantize or Process Effect>MIDI Effects>Cakewalk FX>Quantize.

    Hope that helps somewhat.

Also hope that this forum software supports paragraphs using Safari.
