Quantizing audio...any tips or tutorials around?

I'm trying to quantize sixteenth note hi-hat hits to a quarter-note and eight-note drum track (I got a drummer playing a Roland percussion pad who simply cannot play along to a click track).  I am trying to use the drum track as the pool, and quantize the hi-hat track to the pool...I've followed the instructions found here () explicitly, but the hi-hat tracks only quantize to the markers on the drum notes...so where a quarter note is, the first, closest hi-hat hit moves to the drum hit, but none of the other notes move.  I've experimented with disabling the transient markers for all the notes not near a drum hit marker, and that seems to work ok, but is there an easier way to do this?  I ended up aligning the transients on 90% of the drum hits, and doing that again to the hi-hat, when there are way more notes, will be torture....and yeah, I know, I could find another drummer, but that really isn't an option

Any helpful tips, or links, or tutorials would be very appreciated...
